Terms of Use

These terms govern access to ElBlot websites, private Baloot rooms, gameplay features, and related services.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and ElBlot regarding your use of elblot.com, play.elblot.com, and related browser-based services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Additional rules may apply to a specific feature, competition, promotion, or test. Those additional rules become part of these Terms for that feature.

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. By creating or joining a game, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for complying with laws that apply where you live. Access to a feature may be limited where operation, competition, advertising, or prizes would not be permitted.

3. The ElBlot Service

ElBlot is an online platform for Baloot content and gameplay. Current and planned features may include private friend rooms, digital teammates, learning modes, player progression, permanent game records, leaderboards, ranked rooms, and free-entry prize competitions.

Beta notice: some features shown on the website are locked, planned, experimental, or temporary. A visible feature description is not a promise that the feature is currently available.

The private beta may use temporary rooms that are removed after a server restart. You should not rely on a beta room, score, link, or replay being permanently available.

4. Game rules, scoring, and referee outcomes

Games are governed by the rules, table settings, and engine version identified by the Service. The How to Play guide is an introduction; detailed official rules and in-game records control where the guide is simplified.

ElBlot records observable game actions and may apply automated calculation or referee logic. Players are responsible for their actions, including bids, card plays, announcements, claims, and challenges. A button being visible does not necessarily mean that using it is lawful under the game rules.

Technical faults, incomplete games, rule corrections, invalid actions, or successful referee claims may change, cancel, or settle a hand, deal, Sakka, score, rank, or result.

5. Fair play and acceptable use

You must use the Service fairly and lawfully. You must not:

  • cheat, collude, share concealed card information, or coordinate through unauthorized channels;
  • use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients, exploits, or unauthorized assistance;
  • interfere with a room, server, match, ranking system, security control, or another user;
  • attempt to access hidden cards, private engine evidence, room credentials, or another player’s session;
  • impersonate another person or submit false eligibility or prize information;
  • scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or probe the Service except where applicable law expressly permits;
  • use reactions, names, or submissions to threaten, harass, deceive, or distribute unlawful content.

We may restrict access, cancel results, remove scores, preserve evidence, or disqualify a player where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or fair competition.

6. Ranked rooms, rewards, and promotions

A ranked or prize room is available only when specifically opened and may have level, badge, region, identity, fair-play, or other eligibility requirements. Displayed future rooms and demo prize figures are not an offer or guarantee.

Unless separate published rules state otherwise, ElBlot prize competitions are intended to be free entry: no stake, wager, or paid entry is required, and prizes are not funded by player bets. Availability is subject to local law.

Before an active competition begins, its rules should identify the eligible territory and period, method of entry, scoring, winner selection, prize, verification requirements, disqualification grounds, and delivery conditions. Those specific rules control if they conflict with this general section.

We may withhold or cancel a reward where eligibility cannot be verified, a result is affected by cheating or material technical failure, required information is not provided, or awarding the prize would be unlawful.

7. Intellectual property and submissions

The Service, software, visual design, original text, graphics, logos, game records, and platform features are owned by or licensed to ElBlot and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, publish, or commercially exploit the Service or its original content without permission. You retain ownership of a message you submit through the contact form, but you allow us to process and reproduce it as reasonably necessary to answer, investigate, and improve the Service.

“Baloot” identifies the card game. ElBlot does not claim ownership over the traditional game itself.

8. Availability, changes, and termination

We may add, change, pause, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service. Maintenance, security events, capacity, beta changes, or third-party failures may interrupt access. We do not guarantee that every device, browser, feature, room, or saved result will always be available.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, security is at risk, the law requires it, or continued access could harm users, fair competition, or the Service.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free scoring, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of beta data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ElBlot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, rank, opportunity, profit, reputation, or access arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the lowest amount permitted by applicable law.

10. Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you. Subject to mandatory law, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the ElBlot contact form by choosing Legal question.
